Our History

Aptus Design LLC was founded by Tod Alvey in February of 2013 in Prospect Kentucky. 

The owner has over 20 years of experience in the construction and design industry. As a member of United Association Local 502, he has firsthand work experience in the following industries: chemical, automotive, blending plant, power plant, sewage treatment, and food and beverage. He also has experience working in fabrication shops, at military installations, and in commercial buildings. During his career, he has had the pleasure of working with, and learning from, the great minds and craftsmen of the industry. That experience has carried over and continues on to this day at Aptus Design LLC. 

To date, Aptus Design LLC has worked on, and completed, a variety of projects for several different clients, many being repeat.  It is a testament to the honesty and integrity of the company. Ranging from single line pipe routes to complete system designs and layout, attention to detail has remained the constant throughout every project.
